BYRON CENTER HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The chix and the bulldogs tied 3-3 Thursday night after nine innings of play. Byron center decided that they needed to save their pitchers for a later date and chose not to finish the game. After trying to convince them otherwise, the umps agreed that we would call the game after nine innings. Trenton Lynema pitched a complete game for the chix throwing 102 pitches in nine innings. Sam Cochran made many nice defensive plays at shortstop and also collected two hits. The chix are now 5-0-1 in conference play.
