HAMILTON COMMUNITY SCHOOLS: 3
The Zeeland East chix won both ends of a double header with Hamilton, 11-3 and 12-2. In game one, the chix had a big third inning scoring nine runs to break the game open. The offense was led by Keenan Faber, Cole Machiela, Sam Cochran, Brandon Claerbaut, Trenton Lynema, and Brooks Huizenga. Each collecting two hits a piece. Caleb Schrotenboer pitched a great game for the chix.
In game two the chix stayed hot and won 12-2 in five innings. Keenan Faber pitched well for the chix. The offense was led by Isaiah Buitenhuis with two hits and two rbi’s.
