UNITY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 46
The Chix hosted Unity Christian on Thursday evening. The Crusaders ended the first quarter on a big run and the Chix were down 16 to 7 after 1 quarter. The Chix battled back in the second and third quarters and going into the fourth quarter, the score was tied at 37. But Unity outscored the Chix by 2 in the fourth quarter and Chix lost 46 to 44. Nathan Claerbaut scored 16 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and blocked 7 shots. Levi Tilden scored 9 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. David Ortiz scored 7 points and Jeff Agar added 5 points. The Chix are back in action Tuesday on the road at Thornapple Kellogg.
