The Chix Boys JV basketball team traveled down the path to take on the Zeeland West Dux on Thursday night.  The Chix played a strong game and scored a 50-38 victory.  The Chix went on an 11-0 run to end the first quarter to lead 17-5 after one quarter.  The Chix continued their strong play in the 2nd quarter and led the game 30-15 at halftime.  The Chix continued their strong play in the 2nd half to pull out the 12-point win.

Owen Ver Steeg- 6 pts, 5 reb, and 2 steals

Quincy Thome- 4 pts, 7 reb, and 4 assists

Eli Walcott- 4 pts, 3 reb, and 3 assists

Mickey Voss- 4 pts, 5 reb.

With the win, the Chix record is now 8-6 overall and 6-2 in the OK Green conference.  The Chix are back home on Tuesday to play the Muskegon Big Reds.  The game should tip off around 5:30 pm.
