The Chix wrapped up their 3 game road trip on Friday night at Muskegon Mona Shores.  The Chix played tough defense and dominated the offensive glass to knock off the Sailors 50-38.

The game started slow offensively for both teams; with the Chix leading 7-6 after one quarter.  The Chix went on a 10-0 run to start the 2nd qtr to take control of the game and led 25-18 at halftime.  In the 2nd half, the Sailors kept it close, but the Chix knocked down some free throws in the 4th qtr when the Sailors were forced to foul and the Chix pulled out the road win.

With the win, the Chix record improves to 11-7 overall and 9-3 in OK Green conference play.

The Chix are back home next week with their final 2 home games of the season.  On Tuesday, the Chix host Grand Rapids Union. Game time is after the Freshmen' game at 5:30 pm.
