BYRON CENTER HIGH SCHOOL: 54
The Chix traveled to Byron Center on a beautiful Thursday night for football. The Chix lost the game 54-16.
Offensively, the Chix were led by Cebastin Hunderman, who rushed for 106 yards, 65 yards coming on a second quarter touchdown run. At quarterback, Sam Cochran completed 9 passes for 65 yards and 1 touchdown pass. Sam also had a 26 yard run in the game. Receiving, Brandon Claerbaut had 4 receptions, including a 4 yard touchdown catch. Nathan Claerbaut added 3 catches in the game.
Defensively, the Chix were led by Zach Bellis, who had 11 tackles. Cole Machiela added 7 tackles and Sam Cochran collected 6 tackles on the game.
The Chix are back home on Thursday night, October 11, when they host the Dux from Zeeland West.
