The Chix got their first taste of conference competition on Tuesday at Ironwood Golf Course. They finished with a 237 coming in 6th place, just behind the Dux who had a 231. Three juniors competed and played pretty well with Collin Mulder leading the way with a 53. JR Bouws was just behind him with a 55 that consisted of a nice finish to his round. To round out the other four scores; Ethan Tibbs-64, Evan Stema-65, Ryan Witkowski-66, and Andrew Neckermann-68.
The winner of the jamboree with a fine 182 was Byron Center. The Chix next event is Friday with a home duel against West Ottawa.
