ZEELAND WEST HIGH SCHOOL: 21

The Chix hosted the Dux from Zeeland West in the opening game of the double header and lost 21 to 5. The Chix struggled defensively, committing numerous errors, and the Dux displayed a strong hitting attack. Isaiah Buitenhuis started the game for the Chix and took the loss. Riley Wilson and Cole Machiela pitched for the Chix in relief. Offensively for the Chix, Keenan Faber had 2 hits, a run scored and a RBI. Sam Kikstra reached base twice, including an RBI and Dominic Schuitema chipped in with a hit and a RBI.
