On Wednesday the Chix and Dux freshman baseball teams met for a doubleheader. The Dux won game one 4-1. The second game saw the Chix starter Aidan Fredricks throw a one hitter while a plethora of Chix bats heated up. 

In game 1 Jake Meyering pitched a complete game for the Chix. The Chix bats struggled to get going in game 1 but Jake did a great job of keeping them in it scattering 6 hits and only walking 1. 

Offensively the Chix were able to scratch out 3 hits by Fredricks, Gabe Vera, and Dylan Kenyon. Noah Ledford scored the lone run for the Chix in game 1. 

In game 2 Fredricks allowed one softly hit single in the first inning before shutting the Dux down for a complete game shutout. 

This Chix bats came to life in game 2 as 8 different players collected hits. Kenyon, Conner Schipper, Gavin Meyering, Max Cochran, Gavin Brouwer, Jake Meyering, and Andrew Hansen all singled. Noah Ledford led the way picking up 3 hits including 2 doubles. He finished with 2 RBI's and scored 2 runs. 6 different Chix stole bases in game 2 as part of a potent offensive attack.
