Boys Freshman Basketball vs. Jenison HS School

JENISON HIGH SCHOOL: 21

The Freshmen Boys Basketball Team won their first game of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Jenison 30-21. The Chix started hott offensively, jumping out to a quick 10-0 lead. Jenison would battle back to bring the game within 4 at half, 14-10. The Chix held a slim 21-18 lead after three quarters and would close out the 4th on a 9-3 run to seal the win. Aaron Keegstra led the Chix with 8 points, followed by Nick Riemersma and Chayton Martinez with 5 points. The Chix will be back in action on Tuesday at TK. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30pm. Go Chix!
