The freshmen boys basketball team was victorious in the opening game of the Zeeland East Holiday Tournament, defeating the Grant Tigers 58-23. 10 of 11 active Chix scored in the game, led by Mason Villarreal with 11 points, followed by Max Voss and Liam Chapman who eached scored 9 points. The win moves the Chix into the championship game of the tournament on Saturday, where they will face off against West Catholic at 12:30. Go Chix!
