UNITY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 53
The freshmen boys basketball team fell to a tough Unity Christian team by a final score of 41-53. After giving up 20 first quarter points, the Chix locked in on the defensive side, holding the Crusaders to 5 points. Despite the great defensive effort, the Chix still found themselves trailing by 5 at halftime, 20-25. The crusaders would win the 3rd Q 17-12, stretching their lead to 10, 32-42. The Chix would continue to battle but come up just short. Nick Riemersma and Aaron Keegstra led the team with 10 points each, followed by Mason Villarreal with 9 and Will Baker with 8.
