HAMILTON COMMUNITY SCHOOLS: 53
Girls fall at Hamilton tonight by four 53-49. After being down 20-9 after 1, the lady Chix outscored Hamilton 18-11 in the second quarter to only be down 31-27 at half. Chix took the lead early in the third by 1 but after 3 quarter Chix were down by one 37-36. In the 4th the Hawkeyes went on a run to spread the lead and the Chix couldn’t overcome the deficit falling 53-49. Girls battled the whole game, super proud of their effort! Maddie Schuur led the Chix with 14 points!
Chix are home on Tuesday against Unity Christian.
