Chix jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the 1st quarter by their aggressive defense and easy transition points off turnovers. It was a great opening game for the Chix, got things to work on and have things to build off of!
Haley Diekevers led the Chix with 16 points, and Maddie Schuur added 12 points.
Girls are back in action on Saturday vs. Forest Hills Northern at Cornerstone University.
