Chix Golfer Take 4th at Spring Lake

At the jamboree at the Spring Lake Golf Club hosted by Spring Lake the Chix finished 4th. Coach Stowie committed, “Another 4th place finish for the girls. Their scores are consistently in the low 50’s and I’m hoping we can get them to all be in the mid to high 40’s soon.”
The team score of 215 placed them in 4th and all six players shot between 52 and 58. Leading the way was Ximena Knittel with a 52, Ashleigh Pomeroy 53, Lucy Ehinger 54 and Taya Schanski 56.
The girls had a lot of fun and still performed great. Sophomore Lucy Ehinger said, “I had a great time today and I even shot par on two holes even though it wasn't my best day.”
