At the Wooden Shoe jamboree hosted by Holland Christian at the Wuskowhan Players Club the Chix finished 3rd. Coach Stowie commented, “We played a lot better as a team today and a few players played very well.”
The Chix were led by sophomore Ximena Knittle who explained, “I shot a lot of pars today and was really excited to find out I finished second individually.” Knittle shot a 95 through 18 and is helping to prepare the team for a conference tournament Thursday.
In 5th place overall was Junior Taya Schanski with a 99. The team finished in 3rd place, missing out on 2nd place by just 4 strokes with a team total of 411. Also scoring for the Chix was Lucy Ehinger with a 101 and Carli Stepka with a 116.
