Zeeland East fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-0 loss to South Christian on Thursday in game 1 of DH.
Anna Jipping took the loss for Zeeland East. She went six innings, allowing four runs on ten hits, striking out four and walking zero.
DeNeff went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Zeeland East in hits. Zeeland East didn't commit a single error in the field. DeNeff had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
