Zeeland East defeated Covenant Christian 7-2 on Saturday May 5th in Game 2 of Allendale Invitational.
Megan Greene earned the win for Zeeland East. She lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out 12 and walking zero.
Zeeland East tallied 11 hits on the day. Kirsten Piatek, Jordyn DeNeff, and Taylor Hinson all managed multiple hits for Zeeland East. DeNeff and Piatek each collected three hits to lead Zeeland East.
