Allendale Bests Zeeland East In Close Championship Game

Saturday May 5th In the Championship Game of the Allendale Invitational, both Allendale and the Chix were strong on the mound, but Allendale was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Zeeland East. Anna Jipping was the tough luck loser for Zeeland East. The Chix took 2nd Place in the tournament. It was truly a great championship game. “After the game the home plate umpire mentioned that it was the best game he had the pleasure to umpire so far this season. We sure are proud of this team”. Jordyn DeNeff, Taylor Hinson, Miriam Dietsche, and Riley Comden all had one hit to lead Zeeland East.
