Monday's game against Wyoming was a heartbreaker for Zeeland East, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. Megan Greene took the loss for Zeeland East. She allowed seven hits and four runs over six innings, striking out eight.

The Chix tallied seven hits on the day. Katelyn Harmsen and Kirstin Piatek each managed two hits to lead Zeeland East. The Chix defense was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
