Zeeland East watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to Hamilton on Tuesday in game 1 of doubleheader.
Anna Jipping took the loss for Zeeland East. She went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one.
Anna Jipping and Romelia Elizardo each managed one hit to lead the Chix.
