Zeeland East watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-0 loss to Hudsonville on Wednesday. The Chix struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Hudsonville, giving up nine runs.

Megan Greene took the loss for Zeeland East. She lasted three innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out one and walking zero.

Comden led Zeeland East with two hits in two at bats.
