Zeeland East Claims Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat Holland Christian in Game 2 of DH

Zeeland East defeated Holland Christian 10-7 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at six with Zeeland East batting in the top of the eighth when Taylor Hinson doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Megan Greene was the winning pitcher for Zeeland East.

Zeeland East scattered 13 hits in the game. Anna Jipping, Jordyn DeNeff, Katelyn Harmsen, and Riley Comden each managed multiple hits for the Chix. DeNeff and Jipping each managed three hits to lead Zeeland East.
