Leonard's Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Zeeland East Victory (4-3) Over East Kentwood
Zeeland East seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple East Kentwood. The game was tied at three with Zeeland East batting in the bottom of the seventh when Sydni Leonard singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
Anna Jipping earned the win on the mound for Zeeland East . She lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out seven.
Zeeland East collected eight hits on the day. Miriam Dietsche and Sydni Leonard lead the team with three hits each.
