Zeeland East Takes Victory Over Hopkins In Pitcher's Duel

Both teams were strong on the rubber Monday, but the Chix defeated Hopkins 3-2. Katie Carlson led the Chix to victory in the pitcher's circle. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out five. Riley Gruppen and Madalyn Hickey coming out of the bullpen to finish off the game. Gruppen led Zeeland East with two hits in four at bats.
