The Chix effort to come back from down four runs in the second inning came up just short, as they fell 5-4 to Wyoming on Tuesday in game 1 of DH. Katie Carlson took the loss on the mound. The Chix tallied nine hits. Ella Hathaway, Maddy Chatman, and Riley Gruppen all collected multiple hits for Zeeland East. Gruppen had a home run and Hathaway led the team with three hits in four at bats.
