Zeeland West Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
The Chix fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 16-1 loss to Zeeland West on Tuesday.
Riley Gruppen took the loss for Zeeland East Chix Varsity. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing 16 runs on 14 hits and striking out seven.
Jaiden Lee went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead the Chix in hits.
