The Zeeland East Softball team, lost 7-0 in the first game of a double header to Reeths-Puffer Tuesday.
Katie Carlson took the loss for the Chix. The hurler lasted six innings, allowing four hits and seven runs while striking out five.
Riley Gruppen, Aliza Touch, Ali Holman, and Carlson each managed one hit to lead Zeeland East.
