Gruppen's Walk-Off Bunt Seals The Deal In Zeeland East Varsity Victory Over Reeths-Puffer
Zeeland East Varsity took Wednesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory over Reeths-Puffer. With international tie break rule in effect and the game tied at nine with Zeeland East batting in the bottom of the eighth Riley Gruppen laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Ali Holman scored the winning run coming from second base.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as Zeeland East collected nine hits and Reeths-Puffer 11 in the high-scoring affair.
