On Thursday afternoon, Zeeland East overcame a some sickness and injury and played to a match tie with perennial state power St. Joseph. The Chix got victories from Larua Thompsen at 1S, Taya Schanski at 4S, Elise Jackson and ThyAn Kleikamp at 1D, as well as Keeley Boerman and Kendyll Samora at 2D.
