Zeeland East Girls Tennis takes second
With a third place finish in conference league play and a tie for second in yesterday's conference tournament, The Chix overtook climbed into second overall in the OK Black conference. Keeley Boerman and Kendyll Samora won the 1D flight championship. Sisters ThyAn Kleikamp (3S) and Trinh Kleikamp (4S) took runners-up awards, losing in the final. Mahalia and Elizabeth Rogovich lost a heartbreaker in the semi's, but rebounded by beating Holland in the 3rd place match.
The Chix travel to South Christian on Tuesday and to Byron Center for Regional play on Wednesday.
