UNITY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Zeeland girls got off to a good start after just one short week of practice. The girls bowled a very close baker game with Alyssa Fortney needing to make a tough split in the 10th to secure the game. The girls got on a strike streak in the 2nd game throwing 6 in a row and rolling a nice 208 and won both bakers and took a 10-0 lead. The girls continued to bowl well in the first singles game winning all but one point and securing the match. Unity fought back the second game and won all but one singles match but split the totals. The girls beat an always competitive Unity Christian team 23-7. High scores rolled by Alyssa Fortney 191, Ellie Drenten 183, Megan Gemmill 181 and Brianna Fortney 180.
