Zeeland Girl bowlers started slow but continued to work hard and pulled away in the Baker games to capture their second Conference Championship in a row. The girls bowled singles games of 808, 873 and 786. They then bowled baker games of 204, 183, 200 and 179. The girls had 4 bowlers named to the All Tournament team including Alyssa Fortney, Megan Gemmill, Rylee Smith and 1st place winner, Morgan Smith shooting a 3 game total of 624. The Zeeland girls also had 6 named to the All Conference/Honorabe Mention team. Morgan Smith was 1st, Alyssa Fortney was 3rd, Brianna Fortney was 6th. Ellie Drenten 7th, Rylee Smith 8th and Megan Gemmill 9th. The team will bowl Friday in Regionals at Sherman and try to make its way back to Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park for States...
