Zeeland East wrestling kicked off the season opener finishing 1 and 1 on the night. East opened the season with a close dual against Holland losing 33 to 47. East then rebounded against host Unity Christian defeating them 44 to 28. Undefeated on the night for East was Gavin Drenten (126), Alex Dewitt (165), Gabe Amid (190), Atari Kuras (215), Parker Williams (285).
East kicks off the tournament season this Saturday at Zeeland West.
