Zeeland East Wrestling traveled across the state to compete in a team tournament in Linden, MI, and had an impressive showing, finishing the day with a 4-1 record to secure 2nd place. The Chix earned victories over Charlotte, Dewitt, Brother Rice, and the Linden B team before falling to a tough Linden A team in the final.
Undefeated wrestlers on the day were JJ Ledford, Zach Westrate, and Gavin Drenten, who all delivered standout performances. A special milestone was reached by Gavin Drenten, who earned his 150th career win—congratulations, Gavin! The Chix continue to prove their strength and determination as they push through an exciting season.
