Varsity Wrestling at Mike Adamson Tournament

Zeeland East Wrestling had a fantastic performance at the Mike Adamson Tournament in Ionia, MI, finishing 2nd out of 9 competitive teams. The Chix crowned six champions on the day: Tanner Hofman (106), JJ Ledford (120), Zach Westrate (126), Anders Tibbs (144), Gavin Drenten (150), and Caden Arendson (157), showcasing their dominance across multiple weight classes.
In addition, Zeeland East had four podium finishers: Eric Segovia (144), Jonah Heyboer (175), and Maximus Gomez (215) earned runner-up finishes, while Xavier Phuek (132) 3rd place and Elijah Amid (175) 4th place added to the team's strong showing.
The Chix now look ahead to starting the new year at the Falcon Open in Allendale next Saturday.
