The Chix season came to an end today as the team played at Point O'Woods Golf Club. The team did their best on the difficult course and finished 9th. Today's players scoring for the team were Carly Lukins, Ashleigh Pomeroy, Ximena Knittel, and Taya Schanzki. Carly had a round of 86, tying for 6th place overall.

OK Green Conference Tournament

The Chix took third place today at the 18 hole Conference tournament at The Ravines Golf Course in Saugutuck. The team was led today by Senior Carly Lukins with a two over par 74, Senior Lauryn Hansen with a 103, Junior Taya Schanski with a 105, and Freshman Ashleigh Pomeroy and Junior Keeley Boerman with 116. Highlights for the day included 3 birdies for Carly, two birdies for Lauryn and 1 birdie each for Taya, Ashleigh, and Kendyll Samora.
Carly finished 2nd overall today and was named to the All Conference Team, Lauryn finished tied for 10th place and was named All Conference Honorable Mention.
The team finshed the season in the 4th place in the Conference.
Next up is the Regional at Point O'Woods on Tuesday the 10th.
Holland Jamboree

The Chix traveled to Saugatuck to play at Clearbrook Golf Course for the final OK Green Jamboree of the season. The team score was 208 placing the Chix in 4th place playing the final 5 holes in the rain. Leading the team on Senior night were Seniors Lauryn Hansen with a 44 and Carly Lukins with a 45. Also scoring for the team were Keeley Boerman and Taya Schanski.
Next week the team will play on October 4th at The Ravines for the 18 hole Conference Tournament.
Wooden Shoe Tournament

The Chix had the privilege of playing Wuskowhan Players Club this afternoon and place 2nd with a team score of 219. Leading the Chix was Junior Taya Schanski with a 50, Lauryn Hansen with a 51, Lucy Ehinger with a 55, and Olivia Grotenhuis with a 63.
Tomorrow the Chix play their final 9 hole Jamboree of the season at Holland.
Reeths Puffer Jamboree

The Chix traveled to Lincoln Country Club North of Muskegon to play in the OK Green Conference Jamboree today. Carly Lukins was medalist for the round with a terrific score of 3 under par, setting a new school record for a nine hole score with a 33! She had 4 birdies, 4 pars, and 1 bogey for the round. Congratulations Carly!
The team shot a score of 189 and also scoring for the Chix were Lauryn Hansen with a 50, Ashleigh Pomeroy with a 52, and Keeley Boerman with a 54.
The team is currenlty in 4th place in the conference standings.
Home Jamboree Results

The Chix hosted the OK Green Jamboree at Winding Creek on the White Course. The team had a great score tonight shooting a 186 which placed them 3rd. Highlights for the team were an Eagle by Carly Lukins on hole #2, holing out from about 60 yards and Lauryn Hansen birdied both par 3's. Carly led the team with a 39 and finished tied for 3rd overall and Lauryn shot a 42 and finished tied for 5th overall. Also scoring for the team with great rounds were Juniors Kendyll Samora with a 52 and Keeley Boerman with a 53.
The team will be on the road next week, playing at Forest Akers East in Lansing on Monday and then to North Muskegon to play in the Reeths Puffer Jamboree on Wednesday. Good luck girls!An
East vs. West Ottawa

The Chix scored their best team score tonight and defeatd the Panthers. The final score was East 192 and West Ottawa 203. Leading the team and Medalist for the match was Senior Carly Lukins with a one over par 37. Carly ended her round with an Eagle 2 on the final hole on the Blue nine at Winding Creek. Also scoring for the team was Senior Lauryn Hansen with a 48, Junior Keeley Boerman with a 53, and Freshmen Ashleigh Pomeroy with a 54.
After the Labor Day weekend, the Chix will host the OK Green Jamboree at Winding Creek on Wednesday, September 6th.
Jamboree at Mona Shores

The Chix traveled to Muskegon where they played the difficult Muskegon Country Club where the greens are very fast, the rough is thick and the wind was strong. The team scored a 220 placing them in 4th and leading the way were Seniors Carly Lukins with a 45 and Lauryn Hansen with a 48. Also scoring for the Chix were Keeley Boerman and Ashleigh Pomeroy.
Thursday the Chix host the West Ottawa Panthers at Winding Creek.
Thornapple Kellogg Invitational

The Chix traveled to Yankee Springs today to take part in the 20 team event. The team score was 383 for a 10th place finish. Leading the Chix was Senior Carly Lukins whose score of 77 placed her 5th overall. Also scoring was Senior Lauryn Hansen with a fine score of 87, Junior Keeley Boerman with a 109, and Freshmen Ashleigh Pomeroy with a 110.
Next week the Chix start Conference play with a Jamboree on Tuesday at Muskegon Country Club, hosted by Mona Shores and they will host West Ottawa on Thursday.
Girls Varsity Golf vs. Hamilton

The Chix were victorious this morning as they scored a 205 to the Hawkeyes 230. Leading the team with an even par score of 36 was Senior Carly Lukins. Great score Carly! Also scoring for the team were Freshmen Ashleigh Pomeroy with a 55, Junior Kendyll Samora with a 56 and Junior Keeley Boerman with a 58. Great way to start the season, with a win!
Next up for the Chix is the Thornapple Kellogg Invitational on Friday.

The Chix started out their season playing at Orchard Hills yesterday, the team score was 424 and placed the team in 6th place. Congratulations to Carly Lukins on her score of 74 for 1st place overall in the Invite.
Also scoring for the Chix were Kendyll Samora 112, Ashleigh Pomeroy 119, and Keeley Boerman 119.
