Girls Varsity Volleyball + ZEVB Season End

The Varsity volleyball team wrapped up their season with a great run in districts. They concluded their season in district finals, and with an overall record of 24-13. They also won the OK Green Conference Championship for the second year in a row. This group of 13 girls played with a lot of passion and energy, and it was visible they all shared a love for the game and for one another. The Chix are graduating six wonderful seniors: Petra DeBoer, Katie Carlson, Macey Smith, Kiria Elenbaas, Reilly Zegunis and Brylee Selby. These seniors have poured in a lot of hard work, leadership, commitment and heart into the ZEVB program, and they are going to be greatly missed. Thank you seniors for leaving a positive mark on the program and the players around you! Thank you to our underclassmen as well for all your hard work and energy; Cece Huizingh, Morgan Mazeikis, Mady Cavadas, Paityn Burke, Selah Huizenga, Brylee Boetsma, and Emerson DeBoer.
The varsity squad also earned Team Academic All State honors again this year, for having an average GPA over 3.30; they were at 3.49! Congrats ladies!
