Junior Varsity Tennis Earns Co-Championship at Spring Lake Invitational

The ZE Junior Varsity Tennis Team scored 13 points at the six-team Spring Lake Invitational, tying Ludington for the team championship. The performance was a total team effort, as every Chix flight contributed to the winning team point total.
Winning flight championships were Nick Wichers/Drew Wyckoff in the second flight and Paul Freeman/Isaiah Stam in the third flight.
The trio of Corbin Cnossen/Gabe Jarvis/Michael Wichers finished as runners up by committee in the fifth flight. First flight players Keenan Faber/Ethan Wilmot also won two matches for the Chix.
Best comeback of the day went to the fourth flight duo of Deakon Lawson/Owen Kring, who came back from a 5-0 deficit to defeat Cadillac 8-6.
