Zeeland East hosted their annual Varsity Baseball Tournament on Saturday.  In game one, Zeeland East defeated Unity Christian by a score of 7-2.  

Aidan Fredricks picked up the win on the mound for the Chix, taking a no-hitter into the 7th inning before surrendering 2 hits.  Fredricks allowed 2 hits and 2 runs in the complete game, while striking out 3.

Offensively, Trevor Raade and Brooks Huizenga each had two hits in the game.  Raade and Sam Cochran each had doubles and 2RBI.  Ethan Houghtaling added two walks and two runs.

In the other game, Forest Hills Northern defeated Holland Christian by a score of 6-5.

Zeeland East lost in the finals to Forest Hills Northern by a score of 10-5.  Forest Hills Northern used a 7-run 4th inning to break the game open on 3 key errors by Zeeland East.  

Sam Cochran and Brandon Claerbaut each had two hits and a double a piece in the game.

Unity Christian defeated Holland Christian in the consolation game.

Zeeland East 17-4 hosts Muskegon for a OK Green doubleheader on Wednesday.
